]]> মেটা কমিউনিটি এক্সিলারেটর প্রোগ্রাম ২০২২ এ সারাবিশ্বের ১৩৫ টি টীমের মধ্য জায়গা করে নিয়েছে বাংলাদেশী এডটেক প্লাটফর্ম স্কুল অব ইঞ্জিনিয়ার্স। গত ২০ অক্টোবর ফেসবুক কমিউনিটি সামিট ২০২২ এ আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে এ বছর নির্বাচিত ১৩৫ গ্রুপের নাম ঘোষণা করেন। সারাবিশ্ব থেকে প্রায় ৪৮০০+ আবেদনকৃত গ্রুপ থেকে এশিয়া প্যাসিফিক অঞ্চলের সেরা ১৯ টি সহ ১৩৫ টি ফেসবুক গ্রুপকে এবছর বাছাই করা হয়।

বাংলাদেশ থেকে ৬ টি গ্রুপ কমিউনিটি এক্সিলারেটর প্রোগ্রামের জন্য চূড়ান্ত মনোনয়ন পেয়েছে। গ্রুপ গুলো হলো স্কুল অব ইঞ্জিনিয়ার্স, কাস্ট অ্যাওয়ে অন দ্য মুন, পেনসিল, ফুডব্যাংক, অপরাজিতা ও উইমেন অ্যান্ড ই-কমার্স ট্রাস্ট (উই)। চার মাসব্যাপী চলমান এই এক্সিলারেটর প্রোগ্রামে গ্রুপ এডমিনদের জন্য থাকছে ফেসবুকের পক্ষ থেকে উচ্চতর প্রশিক্ষণ, মেন্টরশিপ এবং অর্থ সহায়তা।

ফেসবুকের পক্ষ থেকে এই কর্মসূচিতে অংশগ্রহণের আমন্ত্রণ পেয়ে এক প্রতিক্রিয়ায় স্কুল অব ইঞ্জিনিয়ার্সের সহ-প্রতিষ্ঠাতা প্রকৌশলী হাসান মাহমুদ জানান, যেকোন স্বীকৃতিই অনেক আনন্দের আর সেটা যদি হয় বিশ্বমঞ্চে বাংলাদেশকে প্রতিনিধিত্ব করার মত আন্তর্জাতিক সম্মাননা তাহলেতো খুশীর আর সীমা থাকেনা, কাজ করার অনুপ্রেরণা বৃদ্ধি পায় বহুগুন। স্কুল অব ইঞ্জিনিয়ার্স এর এ অর্জন আমাদেরকে আরো দায়িত্ববান করবে দেশকে এগিয়ে নিতে। ২০১৮ সাল থেকে তরুনদের দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন, ক্যারিয়ার গাইডলাইন, বিদেশে উচ্চ শিক্ষা ও উদ্যোক্তা বিষয়ক নিয়মিত প্রশিক্ষণ দিয়ে চলছে স্কুল অব ইঞ্জিনিয়ার্স। ফেসবুক গ্রুপ, পেইজ এর মাধ্যমে প্রতিদিন ৫ লক্ষেরও বেশী শিক্ষার্থীকে বিনামূল্যে প্রশিক্ষণ দেওয়া হচ্ছে।
